After School Agreement
1. Commencing provision of Childcare
Child Record Forms: I must have a completed child record form before I can care for your child. You are responsible to ensure that you review and update this information on the form at regular intervals and inform me of any changes to this information.
School Collection: It is your responsibility to ensure the school/nursery is aware of our engagement and you are responsible for the setup of arrangements of our collection and drop-off of the child.
Term Time Only Agreement: Means that you only pay for childcare services during the academic school year, in accordance with the timetable for your child's particular school. Any holiday care must be arranged under a separate agreement.
Inset days: Also referred to as teacher training days, fall within the academic school year. So are therefore chargeable under this agreement.
2. Services that I provide
Food: A balanced diet is provided for Dinner if required. A charge for food will be made even if your child is not in my care during meal times.
Collections: These are available at nominated schools. Should somebody different collect your child from my home, please telephone beforehand. Should your child not be attending school, or be collected by somebody else, again please advise me.
In an Emergency: In the event of a medical emergency, I will give first aid treatment
and seek medical advice if required.
Transportation: I must have written authorisation from parent or guardian for transportation. I have fully comprehensive vehicle insurance for any journeys undertaken with your child. An appropriate car seat for the age of the child will be used at all times.
3. Conditions of Childcare provision
Overtime: My normal working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7am to 7pm. For authorised care outside contracted or normal working hours, an agreed fee will be applied.
Payment Terms: Invoices are due monthly in advance. The first payment is due at the beginning of the settling in period. Thereafter, it is due on the first working day of each month or before. An invoice for each month will be raised approximately 5 working days before payment is due.
Time Off: In each contract year I will take 2 weeks of holiday. Notice will be given
at least 8 weeks prior to any holiday and will fall within the academic school holiday.
Bank Holidays: These days are charged at your usual rate, even if your child is not attending.
Non attendance during normal Childcare periods: I regret that there can be no reduction in fees for a place not utilised for whatever reasons be it illness, your holidays or other factors during the academic school term-time for the child's particular school.
Sickness: Children must not be brought to my home, nor can I collect them from school if they are unwell or suffering from a contagious illness or infection.
Child Exclusion: Should your child become incompatible with the general well-being of other children in my care, eg. bullying, disruptive or aggressive behaviour, the child will be excluded without notice.
This Agreement: If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable then such provision shall be automatically modified to the extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable and all other provisions of this Agreement shall be regarded as fully valid and enforceable unless otherwise proved.
4. Conditions related to Childcare provision

Charged Services: Any additional fees due for extra childcare services will be included on the next invoice.
Photography: Please be aware that I may occasionally take photographs of children for inclusion in promotional material such as our website. Please advise if you have any objections. Authorisation must be in writing.
Personal Property: You are responsible to ensure that children do not bring any items of value to my home as I take no responsibility for lost property.
